AVISTAT-D® is a ready-to-use, one-step spray disinfectant cleaner for hard, non-porous surfaces. Its non-acid formula provides powerful cleaning, disinfection, and deodorization for commercial, healthcare, educational, retail, and other facilities.

AVISTAT-D® is a ready-to-use spray disinfectant cleaner designed for general cleaning and disinfecting of hard, non-porous surfaces. It is suitable for use in hospitals, nursing homes, public restrooms, schools, transportation terminals, office buildings, manufacturing facilities, lodging establishments, retail businesses, and athletic or recreational facilities.

It can be used on floors, walls, metal surfaces, stainless steel, glazed porcelain, glazed ceramic tile, plastic surfaces, bathrooms, shower stalls, bathtubs, and cabinets. For plastic and painted surfaces, spot test on an inconspicuous area before use. Surfaces that come into direct contact with food require rinsing with potable water.

Directions for Use

Remove visible soil before applying the product.

Hold the container approximately 6–8 inches from the surface. Apply enough product to wet the hard, non-porous surface and allow it to remain wet for 3 minutes.

For bloodborne pathogens, allow the surface to remain wet for 1 minute for HIV-1, HBV, and HCV.

No scrubbing is necessary. Wipe with a clean cloth, mop, or sponge, or allow the surface to air dry.

For toilet bowls and urinals, remove water from the bowl and apply 1–2 oz of product evenly. Swab the bowl completely, including under the rim. Allow it to stand for 3 minutes before flushing. Specific contact times vary depending on the targeted organism, so follow the product label for complete disinfection instructions.
