LVT-PROTECT™ Luxury Vinyl Tile Enhancer creates a clear, water-resistant protective wear layer for luxury vinyl tile. It provides a low satin shine, enhances the floor’s original color and appearance, improves slip resistance, and helps protect against everyday traffic, spills, and wear.

LVT-PROTECT™ Luxury Vinyl Tile Enhancer is a protective coating designed to provide a maintainable wear layer for luxury vinyl tile (LVT). It helps improve cleaning efficiency while protecting the floor surface from everyday foot traffic, spills, and wear.

LVT-PROTECT™ creates a clear, water-resistant protective barrier with a low satin shine that enhances the original character, color, and appearance of the flooring. The coating also improves slip resistance and makes the treated surface easier to clean.

It can be used on both new and worn LVT. On new flooring, it helps protect and enhance the original appearance, while on worn flooring, it helps restore and revitalize the surface. LVT-PROTECT™ can also be used on linoleum, no-wax floors, synthetic flooring, and rubber surfaces.

Directions for Use

New Luxury Vinyl Tile

1. Dust mop the floor to remove dry soil and loose debris before cleaning.
2. Clean the surface using NCL® QWIK-SCRUB™ at a 1:10 dilution with a mop and bucket or automatic scrubber using a red cleaning pad.
3. Rinse the floor and allow it to dry thoroughly.
4. Using a wet mop or microfiber applicator, apply LVT-PROTECT™ at a rate of 2,000–3,000 sq. ft. per gallon.
5. Allow the coating to dry thoroughly.
6. Worn, dull, or lifeless LVT may require more than one application. Repeat the application as needed, allowing adequate drying time between each coat.
7. For routine cleaning, NCL® LVT-CLEAN is recommended to help prolong the life of the coating and LVT.

Scrub & Recoat

1. Dust mop the floor to remove dry soil and loose debris.
2. Clean the surface using NCL® QWIK-SCRUB™ at a 1:10 dilution with a mop and bucket or automatic scrubber using a blue cleaning pad.
3. Rinse and allow the floor to dry thoroughly.
4. Apply LVT-PROTECT™ using a wet mop or microfiber applicator at a rate of 2,000–3,000 sq. ft. per gallon.
5. Allow the coating to dry thoroughly.
6. For worn or dull LVT, apply additional coats as required, allowing adequate drying time between each application.
7. Use NCL® LVT-CLEAN for routine maintenance to help extend the life of the coating and flooring.
