Edge Plus Carpet Extraction Cleaner

EDGE PLUS™ is a highly concentrated encapsulating carpet extraction cleaner for all types of washable carpeting, including stain-resistant carpets. Its EPT™ Encapsulation Technology surrounds soil and dries into a non-sticky powder for easy vacuum removal, while anti-re-soiling technology helps carpets stay cleaner longer.

It uses NCL’s exclusive EPT™ Encapsulation Technology to surround and encapsulate soils. As the carpet dries, the encapsulated soil and residue form a non-sticky powder that can be easily removed by vacuuming.

Directions for Use

EDGE PLUS™ is designed for use in cold or hot extraction cleaning machines for carpets and rugs.

Before Cleaning

1. Pretest the carpet for colorfastness in an inconspicuous area.
2. Remove furniture and dry vacuum the carpet thoroughly.
3. For heavily soiled areas and traffic lanes, pretreat using EDGE PLUS™ diluted 1:10 (12 oz. per gallon) or a suitable carpet pretreatment product.
4. Treat spots and stains with an appropriate carpet spotter before extraction.

Extraction Cleaning

Follow the extraction machine manufacturer’s instructions and use the following dilution rates:

• Light Soil: 1:128 – 1 oz. per gallon of water
• Moderate to Heavy Soil: 1:64 – 2 oz. per gallon of water

Do not over-wet the carpet.

After cleaning, the carpet pile may be brushed in one direction using a pile brush. Do not allow foot traffic until the carpet is completely dry. Once dry, vacuum thoroughly.

Due to differences in carpeting materials, always test EDGE PLUS™ at the recommended dilution in an inconspicuous area before full application. Do not use if the test causes bleeding, color removal, carpet shrinkage, or deterioration of adhesive.
